About Stephen Plafcan
Home Theaters By Design has specialized in the design and installation of private cinemas and custom media rooms for over three decades.
All of the work shown here within this website I have designed, fabricated and installed personally.
I am proud to have been honored multiple times by the Custom Electronics Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) for my work.
Additionally, I have the distinction of being one of the few Lucasfilm's THX home certified System Designers in our industry. As well as be certified by the Imaging Science Foundation and CEDIA for Design and Installation & Calibration.
Specializing in Lighting Design, Smart Home Automation, Audio & Video Distribution for Interior & Exterior Landscape environments. Cabinetry & Trim Design, Network & WiFi Distribution Acoustical Design and of course Private Theaters and Media Rooms.
